Our healthcare system is largely focused on treating illness rather than preventing it. Most doctors have limited time with patients and are trained to address symptoms rather than root causes. A wellness coach fills that gap by helping you understand the underlying factors driving your health challenges, whether they're related to nutrition, stress, sleep, movement, hormonal shifts, or environmental exposures like endocrine-disrupting chemicals. As your coach, I take the time to understand the full picture of your health and work with you to develop a personalized, practical plan that fits your life.
Doctors diagnose and treat medical conditions. Therapists support mental and emotional health through talk-based approaches. Coaching occupies a different space. It's forward-focused, action-oriented, and centered on helping you build the habits, skills, and mindset shifts that lead to lasting change. I'm not here to diagnose or treat. I'm here to educate, support, and hold you accountable as you work toward your health goals.
Sessions are conducted virtually via video conferencing, so you can work with me from anywhere. In a typical session we'll check in on your progress, troubleshoot challenges, explore what's working and what isn't, and identify your next steps. Sessions are collaborative and practical. We focus on what's most relevant to you right now, not a rigid curriculum. Individual sessions are available, as well as structured programs that combine group and one-on-one coaching for deeper support.
It depends on what you're working on and where you're starting from. Many clients notice shifts in energy, sleep, or stress levels within the first few weeks of making targeted changes. Deeper changes, like metabolic balance, sustained habit change, or emotional patterns take longer and benefit from consistent support over several months. I'll be honest with you about realistic timelines and help you track progress in ways that keep you motivated.
As a wellness coach, I don't provide individualized meal plans since that falls within the scope of a registered dietitian. What I do is educate you on how different foods affect your energy, blood sugar, hormones, and gut health, and support you in developing practical meal planning and prep habits that fit your lifestyle. I also share recipes tailored to your health goals and food preferences. The goal is to give you the knowledge, tools, and confidence to make informed choices on your own not to hand you a rigid plan you'll abandon in two weeks.
No. My approach is not about restriction, elimination, or perfection. It's about understanding how food affects your body and making gradual, sustainable shifts that you can actually maintain. For most clients, small strategic changes make a significant difference without overhauling everything at once or giving up the foods they love.
Wellness coaching and EFT Tapping are not currently covered by most insurance plans. My services are private pay, meaning you pay out of pocket. However, some clients are able to use their Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) funds to cover coaching services — I'd recommend checking with your plan administrator to find out if you're eligible. I offer individual sessions as well as packages at a discounted rate to make ongoing support more accessible.
All coaching and EFT Tapping sessions are conducted virtually, so I work with clients wherever they are. Location is never a barrier.
Yes — all workshops are available in person or virtually, depending on your organization's needs and location. Virtual delivery has proven just as effective for engagement and learning outcomes, and offers greater flexibility for teams across multiple sites.
Employee Assistance Programs typically offer short-term counseling and crisis support; they're reactive by nature. Workplace wellness consulting is proactive and strategic. I work with your organization to assess your team's needs, design programs that address the root causes of stress and burnout, and build a culture of wellbeing that supports your staff long-term. EAPs and wellness consulting serve different purposes and work best when they complement each other.
